HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge, expressed his delight at this achievement, commending the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to encourage and promote interest in documentation, history, and knowledge dissemination.

He explained that, within the framework of the foundation’s mission and core objective to contribute to safeguarding Qatari and global heritage, the printing of the book was supported following a review of its great value and the clear efforts of its author, Mr. Antonio Geada, to document important phases in the history of the State of Qatar.

HE further emphasized that the foundation seeks to contribute to efforts documenting history and heritage so that it remains for future generations, through authoring and printing books concerned with preserving and documenting history, thereby enhancing the cultural scene in the State of Qatar and the world.

He stated: “We believe that by providing a platform to document and explore Qatari, Arab, and global culture and history, we can foster a greater understanding, appreciation, and respect for the unique traditions and achievements of peoples.”

For his part, the author of the book, Mr. Antonio Geada, said: “It is an honor to collaborate with the Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge. The foundation provided valuable support and resources throughout the publishing process of my book, and I look forward to working with them again to begin the next chapter of the Qatar Philatelic History series.”
