DOHA, May 10, 2026: Al-Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge, in collaboration with Al-Faisal Publishing, is participating in the 2026 Doha International Book Fair held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from May 14 to 23.

The joint pavilion of the Foundation and the publishing house features a distinguished collection of publications dedicated to preserving Qatari and human history and heritage, while promoting cultural exchange between the Arab world and the global community.

At the forefront of these publications is the second edition of “A Historian Without a Pen,” which documents through unique insights and rare imagery the historical significance of carpets as records of diverse civilizations prior to the invention of the camera, and the book “Memories of Falconry: From a Life Necessity to a Hobbyist’s Delight,” exploring the heritage of falconry as it transformed from an ancient means of survival into a modern sporting and recreational pursuit—both authored by H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani. The showcase also highlights “Banu Tamim in Andalusia,” an academic study based on historical sources and references that documents the entry and settlement of the Banu Tamim tribe in Andalusia, as well as their civilized role across the Quranic sciences, Hadith, jurisprudence, literature, history, administration, governance systems, Shura (consultation), and the judiciary.
